Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the home cleaning services provided by Cactus Ridge House Cleaning (“Cactus Ridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and surrounding areas of Arizona. By scheduling a walkthrough, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide recurring home cleaning (weekly, biweekly, and monthly), deep cleans, and move-out cleaning. The tasks included in your service are confirmed with you during your walkthrough and estimate. Services are performed by vetted cleaning professionals, who may be independent contractors working with Cactus Ridge.

2. Walkthroughs, estimates, and pricing

New clients start with a walkthrough of their home. Your estimate is based on what we see during the walkthrough and the time we expect your service to take. Services are billed hourly based on that estimated time. If your home’s condition or the work you request differs significantly from what we saw at the walkthrough, we’ll talk with you about an updated estimate before continuing.

3. Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled in advance and confirmed with you. Weekly clients keep a reserved recurring time slot. If we ever need to reschedule because of weather, illness, or an emergency, we’ll contact you as early as possible, and no cancellation fee will apply.

4. Cancellations, rescheduling, and lockouts

We reserve your appointment time and schedule our team around it, so we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to a $150 cancellation fee.

If our team arrives and cannot get into your home, or the service cannot be performed because of conditions on your end, the visit is treated as a late cancellation and the $150 fee applies.

5. Payment

Payments are processed through our secure online booking and payment system. By booking, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for completed services and for any fees that apply under these Terms, including the cancellation fee. If a payment fails, we may pause service until your account is up to date.

6. Access to your home

Please provide what we need to get in at your scheduled time, such as a key, door or gate code, or garage code, and let us know about any alarm system. We keep all access information confidential and use it only to perform your service.

7. Pets

Please tell us about any pets before your first visit. For the safety of your pets and our team, we may ask that pets be kept in a separate room or crate during the cleaning.

8. Your home and belongings

Before your visit, please put away or let us know about valuables, cash, and fragile or irreplaceable items. We take great care in every home. If you believe something was damaged during a service, contact us within 48 hours with details and photos so we can review it with you. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or items that were improperly installed, secured, or already broken.

9. Safety and service limits

To protect our team and your home, we do not handle biohazards (such as blood, bodily fluids, or animal waste), mold, pest infestations, moving heavy furniture, or work that requires tall ladders. We may stop or decline any task if conditions in the home are unsafe.

10. Text messages

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from Cactus Ridge House Cleaning, we may text you about your walkthrough and estimate, appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
